2025 G 580 SUV

There are two versions of the G-Class, the conventional G 550 and the all-electric G 580, which is what we’re focusing on here. It is powered by four electric motors, one for each wheel, which produce a combined 579 horsepower and 859 lb-ft of torque, an incredible amount of power whether you’re on the road or off. The short answer is “it depends” Since each model is different, charging capabilities and times will vary. As an example, the EQS is able to go from 10% to 80% charged in as little as 31 minutes using a DC fast charging station (maximum 200 kW). Using a Level 2 charger at your home or office will result in slower times.
