What's New for 2023
Back after an exciting debut last year, the dynamic EQS Sedan gets a variety of key improvements for the 2023 model year. New this year is the EQS 450 4MATIC® trim level that offers the added capability of all-wheel drive. Other updates include the arrival of a new Executive Rear Seat Package that features adaptive lighting. The available Pinnacle Trim gains updated rear seat cushion and comfort pillows as well. Finally, all EQS Sedan models are now available with optional 20-inch AMG alloy wheels.

Located at each axle, optional twin electric motors are smartly positioned within the floor of the EQS Sedan in an effort to achieve a low center of gravity and balanced handling. EQS 450+ variants produce a total of 329 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque while the EQS 580 4MATIC® turns up the adrenaline to 516 horsepower and 631 lb-ft of torque. As a result, the EQS Sedan can rocket from 0 to 60 MPH in as little as 4.1 seconds on the way to a maximum speed of 155 MPH.
Made possible by its standard AIRMATIC® Air Suspension with Adaptive Damping System, the EQS Sedan easily absorbs imperfections in the road while providing a serene ride. The advanced rear-axle steering capabilities of the EQS Sedan add up to 4.5 degrees of steering angles. Drivers can also choose between Comfort, Sport, Eco, and Individual drive modes within the DYNAMIC SELECT system to customize their experience behind the wheel. Thanks to its groundbreaking DC Fast Charging (200 kW) capabilities, charging from 10-100% takes as little as 31 minutes.

Representing the pinnacle of technological innovation, the stunning interior of the EQS Sedan transforms the way drivers can connect to their vehicle. The crown jewel of the interior is the revolutionary MBUX Hyperscreen. Consisting of a stunning 56-inch curved screen panel, the Hyperscreen features machine-learning capabilities, jaw-dropping display clarity, and intuitive operating. Some technical highlights of this system include 8 CPU cores, 24-gigabyte RAM, and 46.4 GB per second RAM memory bandwidth. Haptic feedback is delivered through a total of 12 individual actuators across the entire surface of the touchscreen and the system supports up to 27 different languages. AI data processing capabilities are able to provide intuitive suggestions based on input from the driver.

Achieving harmony between sustainable craftsmanship and first-class refinement, the luxurious interior of the EQS Sedan is inspired by the legendary S-Class. Standard multicontour front seats include massage and heating functions to help soothe both tension and stress. Hear your favorite songs the way the artists intended them to be heard with an available Burmester® 3D Sound System with Sound Personalization. At the touch of a button, you can choose between one of 64 colors from the standard Active Ambient Lighting inside the cabin of the EQS. Other examples of premium features found on the EQS Sedan include wireless charging integrated into the front armrest, 4-zone climate control, soft-close doors, and a panoramic sunroof.
