New Mercedes-AMG® C63 Model Promises Dynamic Performance

Mercedes-Benz headed to the Paris Motor Show with some exciting new models. Among them was its new Mercedes-AMG® C63 model. The sporty car is able to maintain dynamic performance while seating up to four passengers.

Similar to the technology found in the new Mercedes-AMG® GT—a performance coupe also revealed in Paris—the C63 will be equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine, providing 469 horsepower, or up to 503 hp for the C63 S model. Four people in the car won’t stop the C63 from jetting from 0 to 60 mph in an even four seconds—3.9 in the S model.

“Naturally, the new Mercedes-AMG® C63 is once again powered by an eight-cylinder engine. The passionate power delivery and highly emotional sound of our 4.0-liter V8 biturbo are truly compelling. At the same time, we are maintaining our leading role in the core issue of efficiency. No other high- performance V8 automobile is more fuel efficient than the new C63,” said Christian Enderle, head of Development Engine and Drivetrain for Mercedes-AMG® GmbH.

We can expect this spunky four-seater to arrive here at Mercedes-Benz of Easton in March 2015.
