Mercedes Claims Luxury Sales Crown

After two straight years of being crowned U.S. sales champion in the luxury market, BMW has now been beaten. For 2013, the luxury sales crown goes to Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes moved 33,007 units in December alone thanks to vehicles such as the CLA-Class, the redesigned E-Class and the hot-selling S-Class. Overall, Mercedes had a 14 percent increase in sales in 2013, with 312,534 units sold. This made for a close sales race as BMW managed to sell 309,280 units for the year.

“We saw record sales, flexed our muscles across the entire product line from top to bottom and brought the customer experience to an all-time high,” said Steve Cannon, Mercedes USA’s CEO.

Germain Mercedes-Benz of Easton would like to congratulate Mercedes on earning the luxury sales crown! Are you looking for a new Mercedes? Come check out our full lineup of Mercedes vehicles.
