With the goal of connecting luxury car buyers with the world around them, Mercedes-Benz is increasingly investing in technologies that make reaching this goal that much easier. Some of these Mercedes-Benz technologies were showcased at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

One such technology was the smartwatch application, which Mercedes-Benz has developed together with Pebble. The Digital DriveStyle app networks with the vehicle and the driver’s iPhone, enabling control of the navigation and entertainment systems right from the watch. The watch also allows for easy activation of the Siri voice command system with the touch of a button.

Another technology that Mercedes-Benz showcased at CES shows how drivers will interact with their vehicle in the future. The Predictive User Experience system will take parameters such as weather, time and date together with the driver’s usage history to make suggestions on where the driver would like to go and how to best get there.
