C-Class will be offered as a Luxury Self-Driving Concept

Sometimes you need a little help from your friends—for Mercedes-Benz, that means teaming up with Carzonrent, a car rental company, to produce a luxury rental self-driving concept in India under the brand of Myles.  This new program will allow more consumers to drive luxury car models in a variety of cities.

“This hassle-free mobility solution will extend our luxury experience beyond our existing customers. We believe both companies will benefit from this alliance in terms of consumer outreach,” said Eberhard Kern, Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and Chief Executive.

Through this new partnership, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Class models will be offered as rental cars in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, while also allowing the SLK and AMG to be offering in the luxury self-drive service as well. This will increase the Myles brand’s fleet to over 1,000 cars by 2015, while growing to include 5,000 cars in the next three years.
