Fun Fall Columbus Events and Activities

The leaves are turning, the air is brisk, and the festive holidays are just around the corner. This is a very special time of year here in Columbus. There’s still time to enjoy outdoor activities, and there’s lots of fun things to do throughout the area.



  • Opera on the Edge: Pagliacci at Shadowbox Live’s Backstage Bistro in the Brewery District (Thru 11/2)
  • Presented by Opera Columbus, this fully-staged English version of Pagliacci tells the tale of a crazed clown who murders his wife in front of a live audience.
  • Imrov Wars: The Fall Attack at the Studio 35 Cinema and Drafthouse (Thru 11/4)
  • The comedy scene heats up this fall with some of the hottest and funniest comedy talent Columbus has to offer. Four of Columbus’ most hilarious improve groups compete for laughs as audience members shout out their suggestions for skits.
  • Matt the Electrician with Daniel Champagne at the Columbus Performing Arts Center (Shedd Theater) (11/7)
  • Presented by Six String Concerts, Matt Sever (aka “Matt the Electrician”) is an award-winning singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas whose heartfelt lyrics and joyful arrangements are pleasing crowds across the country.  (11/7)
  • Driving Miss Daisy at the Columbus Civic Theater – This landmark play about a mature woman with an iron will and her chauffeur has touched the hearts of millions with its stirring story of overcoming the barriers of race and religion. (Thru 11/8)
  • Broadway in Columbus: The Lion King at the Ohio Theatre – Experience the artistry and majesty of this Disney classic come to life in the breathtaking blockbuster Broadway musical. (Thru 11/9)
  • The Coshocton Footlight Players Present Spoon River Anthology at the Triple Locks Theater – This haunting and evocative play chronicles the memories, longings, and regrets of former residents of Spoon River. (11/7 – 11/22)


  • Capital Cities performs at the Newport Music Hall at OSU (11/5)
  • Country music artist Eric Paslay is presented at The Bluestone downtown (11/6)
  • Jeezy – Seen It All Tour at the Newport Music Hall at OSU (11/8)
  • Granger Smith with Earl Dibbles, Jr. at OSU’s Newport Music Hall (11/9)
  • Todd Rundgren appears at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion (11/10)
  • The Noise and 99.7 The Blitz Present “In This Moment: Black Widow Tour” at the Lifestyles Community Pavilion in the Arena District (11/5)
  • Music at the Conservatory: The Broad Street Bells & The Salty Caramels perform at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (11/30)
