Camouflaged Mercedes-Benz Spotted by Photographers
There’s always much excitement that accompanies the release of images featuring sneakily disguised prototype vehicles out and about for test drives. A lot of swirly-bodied vehicles have been out trying to sneak through their test runs, but so far none have escaped the sneaky shutters of spy photographers. Yes, even the camouflaged Mercedes-Benz was spotted recently during its travels.
This well-costumed Mercedes-Benz C-Class convertible has been on the prowl in its refreshed form. The shots were primarily from the backside, so car bloggers still aren’t sure if the front end’s design is similar to the previous model, or completely different. But the back has definitely changed to look more like the S-Class Coupe’s arrangement. The convertible’s roof is a soft-top, seen through the paintwork pretty easily.
As far as the actual drivey bits go, under the hood will still be the same as its brother, the C-Class sedan. It’ll be equipped with a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 engine, plus a second, more powerful engine option should you desire a stronger kick to your Benz.
Mercedes-Benz of Easton will have a lot more to discuss about this convertible as the months go by and we hear more about it from the higher-ups. Until then, stay tuned for more news on current and future models!
