Now entering its second generation, the all-new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA is now more luxurious and more capable than ever before. Compared to its predecessor, the new GLA is more than 3.9 inches higher but also 0.6 inches shorter in length. As a result, the interior offers more headroom up front and considerably more legroom in the rear. Completely revised styling helps the GLA stand out from the crowd. Beneath the chiseled hood of the Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 lies a new 2.0L Inline-4 turbocharged engine which produces an impressive 13 additional horsepower compared to the previous variant. For the ultimate in control across the entire spectrum of road surface conditions, the GLA can also be equipped with the legendary 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system featuring fully variable torque distribution as an option. Using the available DYNAMIC SELECT switch, the driver is able to customize the drive characteristics of the all-wheel drive system. Included as standard on GLA 4MATIC models, the Off-Road Engineering Package includes specialized tuning to help you conquer rugged terrain. To help the driver judge these tricky off-road maneuvers properly, an animation of the driving situation can be projected the media display for a realistic presentation of gradient and inclination angle.
Balancing contemporary design with an influx of advanced tech features, the upscale interior of the Mercedes-Benz GLA offers a welcoming environment to both drivers and passengers. Positioned in the center of the dashboard, a total of five ventilation outlets feature a high-quality turbine look with meticulously designed air guidance vanes.
