For the ultimate in control across the entire spectrum of road surface conditions, the GLA can also be equipped with the legendary 4MATIC® permanent all-wheel drive system featuring fully variable torque distribution as an option. Using the available DYNAMIC SELECT switch, the driver is able to customize the drive characteristics of the all-wheel drive system. Included as standard on GLA 4MATIC® models, the Off-Road Engineering Package includes specialized tuning to help you conquer rugged terrain. To help the driver judge these tricky off-road maneuvers properly, an animation of the driving situation can be projected on the media display for a realistic presentation of gradient and inclination angle.
